Native Animals Kidnapped

Last weekend we had a lovely time. We went to my God daughters 21st (Happy Birthday Emma) and as we were attending Varekai (Cirque de Soleil) the next day we decided to spend the night at a motel in the city. This was a nice treat and before attending the circus we managed to find an Asian grocery shop. While browsing I was SHOCKED to find one of our native animals had been kidnapped by another country.

This led me to thinking about the fact that we rarely name our foodstuffs after our very interesting native animals which is a shame really. Shouldn't we be eating Tiny Koalas rather than Tiny Teddies? What about hedgehog biscuits shouldn't they be Echidna Biscuits ?

Well you get the idea. Perhaps you could suggest a few more food names just for interest :)
